Itinerary :
Day 1: Marrakech ➝ High Atlas ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Dades Valley
Your desert journey begins with departure from Marrakech, heading south through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views, winding mountain roads, and photo stops at scenic viewpoints.
The first major highlight is a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once a key stop along ancient caravan routes, this iconic kasbah is famous for its historic architecture and appearances in international films.
After exploring the site and enjoying lunch, the journey continues through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, a region rich in traditional villages and dramatic landscapes. By evening, you’ll arrive in the Dades Valley, where dinner and an overnight stay await.
Day 2: Dades Valley ➝ Tinghir ➝ Todra Gorge ➝ Merzouga
After breakfast, the tour continues toward the oasis town of Tinghir. You’ll take a leisurely walk through the Todra oasis before reaching the impressive Todra Gorge, where sheer rock walls rise above a clear riverbed.
The journey then continues through desert towns and palm-filled valleys, arriving near the dunes of Merzouga in the afternoon. Here, you’ll meet your camel caravan and begin a memorable trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, perfectly timed with the sunset.
Upon arrival at the desert camp, you’ll settle into your private tent and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. The evening is completed with live music and a campfire beneath the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert Experience

Day 4: Merzouga ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ High Atlas ➝ Ifrane ➝ Marrakech
After breakfast, the return journey to Marrakech begins. The route passes through desert landscapes and historic regions, with breaks along the way for rest, photos, and lunch.
As the road climbs back into the High Atlas Mountains, you’ll enjoy final panoramic views before descending toward Marrakech. Arrival is expected in the evening, marking the end of your 4-day Marrakech desert adventure.
