Itinerary :
Day 1: Agadir ➝ Marrakech
Your journey begins with a departure from Agadir toward Marrakech. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided exploration of the city’s most celebrated sights. Wander through the animated Jemaa el-Fnaa square, alive with storytellers, musicians, and food vendors. Visit the impressive Koutoubia Mosque and stroll through the tranquil Majorelle Garden, a colorful oasis in the heart of the city. The evening is yours to soak up the unique ambiance of Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech ➝ High Atlas ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Skoura ➝ Dades Valley
After breakfast, travel eastward across the High Atlas Mountains via a scenic mountain pass offering sweeping views. Stop at the historic village of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified settlement recognized for its remarkable architecture and long history. Continue through palm-filled valleys and dramatic landscapes before reaching the Dades region, famous for its striking rock formations and peaceful surroundings.
Day 3: Dades Valley ➝ Todra Gorge ➝ Erfoud ➝ Merzouga
Begin the day following the road through the Dades Valley, then continue to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where sheer canyon walls rise high above a narrow riverbed. After time to admire the scenery, head toward the edge of the Sahara. Upon reaching Merzouga, set out on a camel ride into the dunes just as the sun begins to set, painting the desert in warm colors. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying dinner and music beneath a sky filled with stars.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration ➝ Alnif ➝ Tazarin ➝ Ouarzazate
Wake up to the calm beauty of the desert and enjoy a morning exploring the Merzouga area. Discover the rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi, visit nomadic families, and stop by Khamlia village, known for its unique musical heritage. Later, continue the journey westward, passing through desert towns and valleys before arriving in Ouarzazate, often referred to as the gateway to southern Morocco.
Day 5: Ouarzazate ➝ Taznakht ➝ Taroudant ➝ Agadir
On the final day, travel toward Taznakht, a town well known for its traditional Berber carpets and weaving techniques. Explore local workshops and markets before continuing through scenic countryside toward Taroudant. By late afternoon, return to Agadir, bringing your five-day Moroccan adventure to a close, filled with memories of deserts, mountains, ancient villages, and vibrant cities.
