Itinerary :
Day 1: Agadir ➝ Marrakech
Your adventure begins with a departure from Agadir toward Marrakech. Upon arrival, enjoy an introduction to the city’s vibrant atmosphere, visiting some of its most iconic areas before settling in for the night. The evening is perfect for soaking up the energy of this historic imperial city.
Day 2: Marrakech ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Rose Valley ➝ Dades Region
After breakfast, travel through the High Atlas Mountains, passing scenic viewpoints and traditional villages. Arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a remarkable fortified village known for its earthen architecture and historical importance. Continue through Ouarzazate before heading into the fragrant Rose Valley, famous for its seasonal blooms. By evening, reach the Dades area, surrounded by dramatic landscapes.
Day 3: Dades Region ➝ Todgha Gorges ➝ Jorf ➝ Erfoud ➝ Merzouga
Begin the day exploring the striking rock formations of the Dades area before continuing to Todgha Gorges, where narrow canyons rise sharply above a flowing river. Along the route, pass through Berber villages and palm groves. Stop in Jorf to observe traditional irrigation systems, then continue to Erfoud, known for its fossils and lively markets. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga and ride camels into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy a magical evening in the desert under a star-filled sky.
Day 4: Merzouga ➝ Khamlia ➝ Rissani ➝ Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, explore the Merzouga region in more depth. Visit Khamlia village to experience traditional Gnawa music and learn about local culture. Continue to palm oases and abandoned mining areas before heading to Rissani, an important trading town with a vibrant market. Return to the desert later in the day for another camel ride and a peaceful night among the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga ➝ Alnif ➝ Tazarin ➝ Ouarzazate
This day is dedicated to discovering the desert’s vast beauty. After breakfast, enjoy activities such as walking among the dunes or sandboarding. Leave the Sahara behind and travel through arid landscapes and remote villages, passing through Alnif and Tazarin before reaching Ouarzazate, a city known for its traditional southern Moroccan character.
Day 6: Ouarzazate ➝ Atlas Mountains ➝ Marrakech
Following breakfast, journey back toward Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, stop in Berber villages and enjoy panoramic views of valleys and peaks. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 7: Marrakech ➝ Agadir
After breakfast, depart Marrakech and return to Agadir, bringing your seven-day Moroccan adventure to a close. Reflect on a journey filled with deserts, mountains, ancient towns, and unforgettable cultural encounters.
